IIC-Taiwan 2008 draws huge crowds
IIC-Taiwan - Asia-Pacific's hottest design forum - showcased the most comprehensive system and board-level design solutions, design automation and test technologies at Hall 2 of Taipei World Trade Center on September 9-11, 2008.
Thousands of design engineers and technical managers from Taipei, Hsinchu and surrounding electronics hubs came to evaluate the latest IC and embedded solutions from top semiconductor companies such as Ansoft, ASUSTek, Atmel, Intel, Microchip, National Instruments, NEC Electronics, Renesas, VIA Technologies and Wind River.
Igniting Taiwan innovation with keynotes, summits and seminars
IIC-Taiwan 2008 kicked off with a keynote address from Intel Asia Pacific executive Michael Chen. He gave all event delegates a "peek" into the connected future of embedded systems against the backdrop of increasing environmental consciousness.
Meanwhile, a panel of industry executives discussed before hundreds of design engineers new ideas at the technology summits. Topics discussed during these sessions included clean energy initiatives and next-generation wireless design.
The show also featured vendor seminars, where leading technology providers presented the latest solutions and they help achieve design efficiencies.
The one-stop platform for electronics development
IIC-Taiwan 2008 co-located with SEMICON Taiwan and the second annual HDMI™ Developers Conference. These events showcased products, technologies and standards covering electronics development - right from design to manufacturing.
In addition, top industry associations TSIA, SIPO, TEMI, Linux, TECA, TEEMA, IEEE, TCA THCA, Semiconductor Institute expressed full support of IIC-Taiwan 2008.
